Every type of dried bean and pulse is available, from black eye beans to marrowfat peas and most of the range available in 400g tins along with additions such as giant Greek beans and mixed beans.

All types of grains and cereals including millet, tapioca and quinoa and over twenty different rice's such as wild red rice and black glutinous rice as well as the better know Thai fragrant rice and Arborio risotto rice.

A full range of nuts and seeds either raw, roasted & salted or processed into pastes, creams and milks or flours.

Every sort of oil is stocked from organic extra virgin olive oil to lemon grass oil and smoked paprika oil. Most popular is the fresh basil oil from Ireland - so concentrated and full of basil it is impossible to produce it yourselves at the price - in fact all the fresh herb oils are excellent in quality and value.

Cepe oil and smoked oil are also very popular and relatively new are the drizzle oils which are excellent for garnishing your dishes or plates - watercress and roquette drizzle oil are particularly good, especially on salads.

The duck and goose fats are fully refined and require no further preparation, ghee and clarified butter are also stocked.

A full range of the most popular vinegars are stocked, as well as a few more unusual such as brown rice vinegar and Banyuls vinegar, of course balsamic vinegar is always stocked in a host of different forms and preparations.

For top of the range balsamic the Black Seal from Modena is unbeatable, it is so rich and smooth you can easily sip it as an after dinner digestive!!

If it is value you are looking for the 6* 500ml vinegar is best, and if you wish to make your own reductions then we have a 4* in a 5 litre tub which is ideal for that purpose

We also have a range of nearly twenty balsamic reductions in a variety of flavours if you did not want to make your own reductions.

Along with the alcohols in the patisserie section, cooking wines are also stocked either single variety chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon or the very reasonably priced blended Italian Red or white cooking wine - available in either 3 or 9 litre bag in boxes.

We also have a full range of mustards - both English and French - most popular is the excellent range of Champs mustards in kilner jars from France. Deliciously soft and creamy available in nine superb flavours.
