Master Chefs Lunch - Crowne Plaza London
Vin Sullivans are pleased to be involved with the Master Chefs lunch held at the Crowne Plaza, Buckingham Gate, London on 4th October 2010.
Providing much of the canapé ingredients to the Kingsway College organised by J.J.Lui and some other ingredients for the main meal to chef Brian Henry at the Crowne Plaza.
Vin Sullivans are also featured in the current autumn and winter edition of the Master Chefs magazine.

Combined Services Culinary Exhibition - Sandown Park
Attended over three days by members of the Army, Navy and Ari Force, Vin Sullivan's stand featured lots of new products and menu ideas for the coming season - many of which will be in our new Christmas specials, out very soon.
Our stand was manned by Emma and Chris, helped by Charles from Chantilly Patisserie who provided some welcome fine dessert samples from our range.
Vin Sullivans also sponsored The senior centre piece in fats competition which is always extremely popular and the quality of of the entries was again outstanding!

Vin Sullivans have been a long time supporter of Macmillan Cancer Support and although organising a coffee morning at our offices here in Blaenavon does have its logistical problems - we do hold a virtual coffee morning, where only the donations are real!!

Abergavenny Food Festival
Every year, Vin Sullivans are pleased to be involved with one of the biggest food festivals held in Britain. Over 40,000 visitors attended over the two days of the event this year, as well as a shellfish bar, Vin Sullivans put on fish preparation demonstrations in the Priory Centre which runs for the two days and entry is completely free.

Vin Sullivan's is pleased to announce that we have achieved the necessary standards to be awarded the EFSIS accreditation through SAI Global for our food safety systems and the processes in place, this is the latest standard we have achieved in addition to our current SALSA standard, awarded by NB certification

British Fish Craft Championships 2010
The Young's British Fish Craft Championships 2010 - organised by the National Federation of Fishmongers was held in Cardiff Bay over the Bank Holiday weekend. Dozens of competitors from all over the UK converged on Cardiff representing such companies as Morrison's, M& J Seafood's and Tesco - to demonstrate a huge variety of skills in filleting, cutting, portioning and skinning a range of fish species watched by thousands of members of the public. Jonny Jenkins our fish manager and twice winner of the championships won the M& J Seafood's Cod Championship and came in a credible fourth place overall in the main championship, while Scott Bright, entering for the first time, came in third in the Morrison's Fish Craft Challenge.
