British Fish Craft Championships 2012
Two of our fishmongers, Jonny Jenkins and Scott Bright, got the chance to show off their skills again at this years British fish Craft Championships in Cardiff Bay yesterday.
All their had work paid off; they both won prizes against tough opposition - with Jonny retaining his title as the Tesco Sustainability Challenge Champion, and Scott winning a great third with his portion cutting
skills, no easy task with a field of 60 of the Uk's top fishmongers to compete against!
Jonny got to third overall, just 19 points short of taking this year's British Fish Craft Champion title, which he has already held twice in his career so far!!

Celebrating Long Haul Service!
Jackie Hobby, our office manager, has celebrated a record 30 years service with the company this year. She knows the company inside and out! Clearly the staff enjoy working here - whilst Jackie is our longest serving member of staff but, others have also been here for 25 years and many more for over 15 years!

Two Million Miles and still counting
Our Cardiff area driver, Rob Thomas, has just clocked up an amazing two million miles (though not in the same van!) delivering our fine foods to customers!.
Rob, now 59, has been with us for more than 20 years, "I was a lorry driver before joining Vin Sullivan, so i was used to driving long distances, and finding my way about - although i never use a sat nav!".
"When i first worked for the company, i had the longer runs to do, which really racked up the miles, though even now i can easily clock up 200 miles a day!"
Rob is a tremendous asset to the company, and never fails to deliver, we would like to congratulate him, and thank him for his hard work over the last two decades!
